Mark your calendars now for the:
21st Annual Herbal Affair & Festival
April 17, 2010
Spring was in the air, on the ground and in the hands of thousands of visitors who descended on Sand Springs April 17th for the 21st Annual Herbal Affair & Festival, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. More than 90 vendors brought herbs, perennials, ornamentals, annuals, vegetables, natives, and heirlooms plants, along with herbal products, gardening supplies and folk art to the heart of Sand Springs giving visitors a taste of spring fever. In addition, delicious food vendors served up Amish, Greek, Italian, Cajun, Indian, along with plenty of American cuisine.
What began in 1989 as a small downtown street sale has grown to attract some 30,000 people and spurred other communities to host similar events. However, the Herbal Affair & Festival in Sand Springs remains the "queen" as the largest, and most respected, in the state.
